Why make a corporate donation to the Refugee Welcome Trust?
- All your donation will go directly to the cause. As we are run by volunteers we have almost no running costs and ensure that these are met elsewhere.
- You and your staff will be able to see exactly where your donation has gone. We will tell you about the real difference your contribution has made to a refugee family in the short and long term.
- We really need and appreciate your support. In the current climate running a profitable business is a real challenge. Starting one is even harder. We started this charity at a time when donations and public funding were falling because we believe our clients shouldn’t have to wait any longer to be reunited with their family.
Most importantly your donation could reunite a family after a traumatic separation. Family reunion aids people’s recovery from persecution and promotes integration in the UK. Your donation will make a real tangible difference to these families who have little hope of funding the funding elsewhere.
Some clients give up hope of getting their children back because of the seemingly impossible costs involved. Your donation can give them back the hope and help them be reunited.
The Refugee Welcome Trust are a registered charity for tax purposes.
Hear from one of our corporate sponsors about why they decided to get involved in giving to the Refugee Welcome Trust:
We have been making donations to the Refugee Welcome Trust over the last year. This was our first significant involvement in corporate giving and we have found the whole experience to be rewarding and worthwhile. As a young company we appreciated the issues facing a new organisation setting itself up in the current financial climate and were happy to support this young charity.
One of the aspects of the work of the Refugee Welcome Trust that appealed to us was their simple and cost efficient way of working. This resonated with our own business practices and we were happy knowing our donation would go directly to the cause and that we were not supporting the administration of the charity itself.
Following our donations we were informed personally about the beneficiaries and the impact of the money we had contributed. In each instance we were able to understand about the family we had helped and in the months after the donation we were kept up to date with their progress and news. This ongoing personal relationship really helped us to feel that our contribution was appreciated, had made a difference and that our money had been well spent.
There are many ways you might be able to be involved from sponsoring events to funding individual cases.
We are happy to answer personal enquiries about our work or speak to you about the cause and what we can do to help. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions you might have or to make a contribution.
